See how Localeway moves your existing localization files from source text to an approved, release-ready export.
No new file format to adopt, no SDK to embed. Localeway reads what you have and writes back what you ship.
Drop in the files your code already uses. The preview reads them first: nothing is written until you press Import.
Pick the languages and what may be overwritten. Translation memory and cache answer first, your AI model writes the rest.
AI proofreading flags grammar, meaning and terminology issues. Your team takes each string from AI draft to Approved.
Download the files, one per language or per module, or pull them from CI through the REST API.

-o fr.jsonThe same French strings in each platform’s own format, with translator notes and plural forms carried along.
The same English sentence needs a different voice in a horror game and in a CAD tool. Localeway gives the model the context a good translator would ask for.
Select strings, pick target languages and choose what may be overwritten: only what is missing, earlier machine output, or everything. Runs in the background with live progress.
Localeway reuses its translation memory and cache before calling the model, so most rows cost nothing. Each run tells you how many came from memory, cache and the model.
A product profile (genre, setting, tone, audience, formal or informal address), notes for translators and a glossary with never-translate terms travel with every request.
AI output is marked “AI · unreviewed” until someone signs it off, and a run never replaces a reviewed translation unless you explicitly ask it to.
Translations missing a {name}, %d or <b> tag are flagged for review, and pluralised strings get one form per plural category of each language.
Write a missing source string from one of its translations, or paste a sample of your engine’s file and let AI infer the format that reads and writes it.
Add a workspace key for the whole team or let members use their own, and pick the model per key. You pay your provider directly, at their price: Localeway adds no per-word AI fee.
Nobody on your team reads Japanese, German and Brazilian Portuguese. The proofreader does: it checks each translation against the source, your glossary and your product’s tone, then tells you exactly what to fix.
Each issue comes with the current wording, a proposed fix and the reason. Apply it in one click, or ignore it.
Translations already proofread are skipped, and one edited since is read again on the next pass.
When a fix needs judgement, the finding arrives without an automatic correction, so a human decides.

Source changed? Its translations return to Needs review automatically. Only export the status you trust.
Invite as many people as you need, on every plan. Each workspace holds its own members, roles, projects, API keys and AI keys.
View, translate, edit or delete, set per project. Decide who may create projects, manage members or use AI.
A freelance German translator sees German and the source, nothing else. Hidden languages never reach their browser.
When a teammate saves or an AI run lands, every open grid on the project refreshes on its own.
Every cell records who wrote what, and how: human, machine, import, memory or suggestion. Restore any version.
Tell translators where a string appears, what its variables hold and which tone it needs.
Translate a shared UI kit once and link it everywhere. Consumers propose changes or override wording just for themselves.
Completion per language and per module, broken down by status, so you know what is left before a release.
Everything between your source strings and the files you ship, without a plugin to maintain
JSON, CSV, Android XML, Apple .strings, gettext .po, Qt Linguist .ts and .NET .resx, for import and export.
Paste a few lines your engine writes. AI proposes the template, you check the live preview and save.
Exact and close matches from all your projects, suggested in the editor and reused by AI runs.
Pluralised strings ask for exactly the forms each target language needs, from Japanese’s one to Arabic’s six.
printf, ICU braces, Qt and .NET numbered, Unreal ordered arguments and XML tags are all recognised and checked.
Scoped API keys for CI, build scripts and engine plugins: list projects, import and export in any format.
A preview reads the file first and lists what it found, including languages your project does not have yet.
Large runs are split into batches and processed in the background, while you keep working in the grid.
Import your files, let AI draft the missing languages, and hand your team a clean grid to review. Your first export can leave today.
